DESCRIPTION:Postponement — Lunar New Year Banquet  \nThe Association of Chinese Americans (ACA) has decided to postpone this year’s Lunar New Year Banquet that was originally scheduled for this coming Saturday\, February 1st at the Golden Harvest Restaurant. \nThis decision was made after careful evaluation of the current situation of the Coronavirus outbreak worldwide\, and reactions from the local Chinese American community. The 2019 Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) situation is rapidly evolving with ongoing investigations that affect many communities. While some believe the likely threat and probability of it appearing in our community is low\, ACA\, who puts public safety as it’s top priority\, has decided to take every necessary caution to be on the safe side.  With that said\, we will hold off all large and/or open-invitation events until the concern of the Coronavirus outbreak has gone away or has significantly subsided. \n\nWe appreciate your understanding and support and will announce the new date for the banquet as soon as it is decided.
