SUMMARY:5th Chinese Cuisine Cooking Contest
DESCRIPTION:Teams of four cooks will prepare dishes for the panel of judges and audience to vote for. The teams will have 120 minutes to prepare and cook four dishes: one main dish (rice or noodle) Chinese style; one specialty dish (in a Chinese local tradition); one dessert Chinese style; and one dish with the secret ingredient which will be announced at the start of the contest.\n\nPreparations and cooking starts at 3pm and the tasting & voting is at 5pm. This free event is sponsored by the Confucius Institute at Wayne State University and the Association of Chinese Americans (ACA).
