May has been the commemorative Asian Pacific American Heritage Month (APAHM) since 1843 and the celebrations have been gone across all the states. The Friends of Asian Arts and Cultures (FAAC) at Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) will celebrate APAHM with deeper cultural presentations and show on May 18th and 19th. The program includes culture presentation where each community gets to present its own distinct culture, and a multicultural show. The event is a collaboration between professional teams and cultural groups from various communities including China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Mongolia, Philippine, Polynesia, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam to showcase the beauty of Asian Heritage.
With the rich and exciting cultural activities, APAHM cordially invite you to share with them the celebration of APAHM in the heart of the Metro Detroit:
