ACA Members, staff, Board directors, along with dignitaries, corporate and community supporters were among the 200 guests who gathered to celebrate this happy occasion. Wayne County Executive Robert A. Ficano’s keynote speech on leveraging locally and competing globally was timely and enlightening. We honored General Motors Company with our Outstanding Corporate Excellence Award and recognized seven Outstanding Youth Counselors: Osbert Fu, Robert Koivu, Irene Li, Howard Liou, Jenny Liu, Jenny Wang, and Christine Yu. The evening’s culminating points were the moving performances by Xiao Dong Wei on the erhu and Aillen You and Connie You on the pipa.
