美华协会妇女能力提升项目课程接受报名
The Association of Chinese Americans (ACA) is participating with Mai Family Services to conduct basic skills classes through the STOP Violence Against Women Grant Program for the empowerment of women. The mission of these classes is to provide training to women in underserved minority populations, particularly to combat domestic violence and serve survivors of domestic violence.
Registration is currently open and classes will begin the first week of August.
The program features two classes: 1) ESL and 2) Computer Skills. Each class will meet weekly for a total of 12 weeks. ESL classes will begin August 2 and meet every Thursday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Computer Skills classes will begin August 7 and meet every Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
All classes will be held at the Chinese Community Center (32585 Concord Dr, Madison Heights, MI 48071)

美华协会将于8月开设开设针对妇女提升生活工作技能的课程。课程目的是通过课程培训，使妇女能拥有更强的生活工作技能，提高独立生活能力，避免成为家庭暴力受害者。
初期课程包括ESL英文课及Computer skills计算机技能课程。课程长度为12周。ESL 英语课由8月2日开始，每周四下午1点至3点进行。Computer skills计算机技能课程由8月7日开始，每周二早上10点至12点进行。
