The Association of Chinese Americans values youth as an essential part of its community. Cultivating the future generation of Asian American leaders to have strong values, be community-oriented, and connected to their cultural roots is an important goal for the vitality of the entire community. To that end, we offer year-round events and activities for youth participation and growth. These include summer camps in Canton and Madison Heights, cultural field trips, the Comcast Digital Connectors program that teaches digital, media, and financial literacy skills. We also sponsor the APIA and APA-Y leadership events to promote personal development and leadership skills in middle and high school students. Additionally, our High School Scholarship Awards program celebrates outstanding Asian American seniors.
