Summer Camp

2022 ACA Youth Cultural Summer Camp

The Association of Chinese Americans, Inc. (ACA) continues its long tradition of offering a Youth Cultural Summer Camp in Canton/Plymouth. This year’s camp will run from July 11 to July 29, Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 3:30 PM, with extended care available in the morning and afternoon (for an extra fee). The camp will continue to provide nutritious daily lunches to campers. Children ages 5-14 are welcome to register. No Chinese language skill is required.

ACA 2022 Youth Cultural Summer Camp has over 20-year history, popular among Chinese and Non-Chinese families. As part of its mission of cultural sharing, the camp has allowed countless students to explore and experience Chinese culture and develop a passion for their roots. The program will focus on culture and language learning, with unique cultural activities such as traditional crafts, calligraphy, Chinese yoyo, songs, dance, cooking, STEM workshops, field trip, and more (Subject to change). The camp also emphasizes developing leadership skills, learning teamwork, and how to appreciate better and understand ethnic diversity.

At our Youth Cultural Summer Camps, children learn about Asian culture and engage in activities that encourage an appreciation of diverse cultures.

2020 ACA Virtual Youth Cultural Summer Camp

ACA’s Summer Camp has a 20-year history, popular among both Chinese and non-Chinese families. As part of its mission of cultural sharing, the camp has allowed countless students to explore and experience Chinese culture, as well as to develop a passion for their roots. Though we cannot be together in person this year, we would still like to maintain the essence of our camp. After careful deliberation, we have decided to move our summer camp online! Students will have the option to participate in a variety of classes and interact with teachers, counselors, and fellow campers.

As always, our purpose is to introduce, explore, and immerse our campers into Chinese Culture by engaging them in Chinese art, dance, martial arts, language, games, and music.  In addition, we also hope to teach campers important life skills such as responsibility, communication, teamwork, leadership, and critical thinking.

We’d like to sincerely thank you again for choosing ACA Youth Cultural Summer Camp. We know your child(ren) will enjoy it as much as others have for the past 20 years, and we look forward to seeing your child(ren) this summer!
